We have commenced works on a New Build School project in Oldham to create Hollinwood Academy, which entails the Fabrication of Steel Framed Modular Buildings off-site by the Main Contractor, our Groundworks package is due to be completed by July 2015.
Our Groundworks package includes but is not limited to the following work Items, Bulk Excavation and Disposal of in excess of 8000m3 of Inert Spoil, 124no. machine Augured Piles, Strip Foundations, on site prefabrication of Steel Cages with Mesh Reinforcement, Placement of Re-enforced Concrete Footings, Surface/Foul Water Drainage at up-to 2.0m depth for 150mm and 375mm pipework, Installation of new PCC Inspection Chambers with Hydro brake’s, Road Gullies, and Ironworks. Excavation and Installation of Attenuation Tank. Installation of 1,100L/m of new PCC Kerbing/Edgings,
Supply and Machine Lay of over 3000m2 of Base and Wearing Course Tarmac to Local Authority approval. Contract Value £780,000.
