Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for assisting in the performance of operations i.e, the measurement and pricing of construction work
- Reporting directly to the Senior Quantity Surveyor with forecasting of costs and values of current projects
- Monitoring and controlling costs within budgetary requirements
- Liaising with clients
- Implementing company policies
- Undertaking all on site measurement for monthly and final valuation purposes
- Securing fixed term price agreements for materials and plant machinery
- Tender surveys for pricing purposes
